CONbox2 GP Acoustics GmbH
GP Acoustics GmbH
GP Acoustics GmbH is distributing the following brands:
The company was founded in 1961 by Raymond Cooke OBE (19251995) and was initially headquartered in a Nissen Hut on the premises of Kent Engineering & Foundry (from where the name KEF is derived) a metal-working company on the banks of the River Medway, near Maidstone in Kent. Cooke, an ex-BBC Electrical Engineer, was keen to experiment with new materials and technologies in order to create products with superior acoustic quality that could reproduce recordings as natural as the original performance. From the very beginning, the pioneering inventiveness of KEF loudspeakers was undeniable and now for several decades, audiophiles around the world have revered KEF for its innovative, high-performance loudspeakers.
CELESTION is one of the all-time greats of loudspeaker design. The first Celestion product was one of the earliest cone loudspeakers, based on a radical new cone design patented soon after the BBC began broadcasting in 1922. Within three years, Celestion launched the world's first large diaphragm speaker; by the end of the decade, Celestion was already established as the high-end loudspeaker brand. By 1950, the Celestion logo was on well over half the new speakers in Britain.
GP Acoustics GmbH is distributing the Hifi & Home Cinema products of Celestion
